The John McCain tribute delivered by Pence

Had something about it that should cause offense.

McCain loved his country and was a true hero,

But  I counted how often Pence used the word: Zero.

  • That is too bad. Literally.

  • It was prefaced by "this is a word from the White House," who, as McCain understandably made as his last wish, was uninvited (I suppose as distinguished from disinvited).

  • Oh AW, I don't think Trump or Pence know the meaning of the word hero--or honor, or truth, or respect!

  • In reply to Weather Girl:

Well put, WG, my friend. I think they'd have needed Aretha Franklin to help them spell respect.

  • In reply to Margaret H. Laing:

    Yes!
