"Trump doubles down on his previous ignorant tweet about California and fires. The only water that reaches the ocean these days is what's left AFTER the massive diversions OUT of our rivers for cities and farms. And there's no shortage of fire-fighting water. Nuts."  [Tweet from Peter Gleick]

On California  waters and raging forest fires,

Trump has a point of view.

Lacking  the knowledge a solution requires

It reflects a low I.Q.

  • I don't know what this is about. However, there was a report yesterday (of all places FNC) that Nunez and several other Rep. congressmen are in trouble because of tariffs hitting the Central Valley, including on pistachios and grapes. Maybe they can squeeze enough grapes to put out the fires.

  • Not only spam, but 2 bits of illiterate spam.

  • Is this what it felt like to read about what went on here in 1871? I wonder.

  • In reply to Margaret H. Laing:

Much worse, if you consider the size of the Mendocino fire (the largest in California history). The Chicago Fire covered 3.3 square miles; the Mendocino fire 453 sq. miles.
