Kim throws a monkey wrench into Trump's peace plans

"The White House brushed aside threats by North Korea on Wednesday to cancel an upcoming summit meeting between President Trump and the North’s leader, Kim Jong-un, saying it was still 'hopeful' the meeting will happen — but that Mr. Trump would be fine if it did not."   []

A funny thing happened on the way to the Summit.

Kim Jong Un has demurred and may back away from it.

If he does change his mind

It would be so unkind

For  Trump's chances of winning the peace prize will plummet.

  • Wasn't it an orangutan wrench?

It seems I was right that Kim just wanted to demonstrate that he had the upper hand over the dotard. Also, isn't this the umpteenth time that the dotard has been uninvited to various events?

  • Looks like Jennifer Rubin took a similar view as mine.

  • Hmmm. "Being fine" without settling a war doesn't sound like peace prize material to me.

  • In reply to Margaret H. Laing:

I thought Jared already did that. Somehow, the border doesn't agree.
