For survival the GOP may have to throw Trump to the wolves

To many Republicans Trump's  a pariah.

They wouldn't respond to him if he said "Hi, ya."

They know their defection

Will lose the election.

But think of him like he were Iphigenia.*

*Agamemnon sacrificed his daughter Iphigenia to appease the goddess Artemis so he could set sail and eventually win the war against Troy and retrieve his wife Helen.

  • Isn't there some law on poisoning wolves?
The Wizard of Id covered this today.

  • In reply to jack:

I never thought of that. But when did the Republicans ever think of preserving a species? Other than its own?

    The Wizard got it right.

  • Also, this tweet seemed the only good one on #askthegays.

  • In reply to jack:

I can't imagine Trump on the yellow brick road. He probably has an emerald tie-pin.

  • In reply to Aquinas wired:

I can't imagine him there, either. What would he ask for from the wizard, other than the seat behind the curtain?

  • In reply to Margaret H. Laing:

He thinks he already has that, which explains his erratic campaign. According to Politico, he is now tearing into the Clinton News Network, while as Slate correctly points out, CNN has been his best media friend.

Either he thinks he is the Wizard, or has serious psychiatric issues (but I am not a shrink).

  • In reply to Margaret H. Laing:

    Slate link.

  • Maybe proving the point, or a mushmouth.Mitch McConnell was on this week. The part I picked up was
George: "Are the Republicans going to pattern their plattform on their candidate."
Mitch: "I predict we will have our traditional conservative platform, with little change."
G: Is the platform going to call for mass deportations and exclusion of immigrants?"
M: "I predict we will have our traditional conservative platform, with little change."

At that point I figured I'd get more information from Hit and Run with Barry Rozner and Joe O.
