  • Two related political notes:
Deez Nuts just endorsed Bernie Sanders. So much for that.

Driving from Maywood to Niles, I smelled skunk in Park Ridge around Prospect and Sibley. My first reaction...who's back in her home town today?

  • Uh oh, liberal milk jug MSNBC says Biden no Progressive savior while Trump's non-serious run to the White House soars to 30% in Republican polls.

Report's also say Trump's popularity probably even higher as fed up non-traditional voters are rising up in support.

Phenomenon first reported on 'Quark In The Road.'

But is continuing tweets demeaning Megyn Kelly a philosophy for governing?

  • In reply to jack:

You mean compared to a demagogue who has double our debt, destroyed our healthcare, divided our country, spit on our allies, and given the biggest supporter of terrorism in the world a 150 billion dollars....no you're right I'm more worried about Megyn Kelly.

  • In reply to 4zen:

Why did you just describe Trump in your last comment? What has he done to bring the country together?

  • In reply to jack:

What group outside of illegal immigrants has he not included? He may have alienated some people that do not agree with him, but he has included everyone in a shared prosperity. Many of his positions are very liberal, and who else could get hard line righties to buy into them.

  • In reply to 4zen:

And he has even talked about including illegal immigrants by giving them an easier path to citizenship.

  • In reply to 4zen:

So, why does he only get publicity for "I'll get the 11 million out of here so fast"? Can't he articulate what he means? If he wants to be the Republican candidate and that really is his position, why doesn't he publicly tell Boehner to release the bill passed by the Senate for floor debate?

  • In reply to 4zen:

Women who have blood spewing out of their whatever and do disgusting things like nurse babies. Apparently he still is antagonizing members of the press. They may enjoy the clown show this far out from the election, but Ailes has turned on him. Also, while Univision may cater to immigrants, I don't think it is run by illegal ones, but Trump is continuing his feud with them. He also has a feud with NBC.

Your comment of 15 hours ago also reminds me of this. Trump's only stated position on a manner of governance would require repealing the 14th Amendment. If, per chance, you were referring to Obama, he has not advocated repealing the 22nd. So, if you were trying to make a comparison to Obama, he isn't running. As the topic of AW's post indicates, it might be relevant how some Republican stacks up vs. Biden or Clinton, but if you are voting on the basis of some past bogeyman in favor of someone who is divisive, a blowhard, and has no policy on stuff like health care, something is wrong. I've voted against candidates, but not ones who aren't even on the ballot.

  • In reply to jack:

So far Trump's potential has played out as I said it could, and you still don't get it.

Just keep watching and maybe you'll figure out it's about something bigger than him, which is why he keeps getting away with his nastiness.

Obama may not be running again, but his policies are and the people that are egging Trump on are fed up with those policies and the rhetoric behind it.

  • In reply to 4zen:

    1. In Trump's world, nothing is bigger than him. His treatment of the press shows that.
    2. Maybe he gets away with his nastiness because people like this have a different interpretation of him that you do. But I guess anyone can project on someone who doesn't have any policy position, other than the 11 million one.
    3. "So far" isn't the primaries, and certainly not Nov. 2016. In the meantime, his alienation tour continues. He should be glad CNN is still giving him free publicity, because several networks won't. Maybe you think he can win by offending approximately 54% of the electorate, but I don't. And is he going to tell Putin "you're fired?" Is that a foreign policy?

  • In reply to 4zen:

BTW, note the irony of the reference to "Constitution" in that cartoon.
