A Blogger's Lament: A Triolet

Note: The following came about after reading "The road to ending insomnia---and writer's block, too"  by Margaret Serious.

I have a case of writer's block

And there is nothing I can do.

The minutes tick off on the  clock.

I have a case of writer's block.

This psychological gridlock

Will not let any thought get through.

I have a case of writer's block

And there is nothing I can do.

  • AW, I find it hard to believe that you would suffer from writers' block, having such an inquiring mind...perhaps a new project to inspire you?

  • I hope you did this just for the poetic exercise -- and then slept very well.
I can't quite believe that you get writer's block, either. After all, as long as the two of us have one idea, we're OK these days, right?
