He Flips Over V8

Born today was Jackie Chan.
Like martial arts? Then he's the  man.
In Hollywood he wasn't great.
So now he sells flipping V8.

  • Communist sympathizer Jackie Chan, who is worth a 130 million U.S. dollars, was reported calling the United States 'The most corrupt country in the world', back in January of this year. Tho when asked if he liked the U.S., he stated he loved it.

This is the type political dynamic is dominate today. We are preached progressive ideals, but the top of the food chain uses these very ideals to hide their ambition.

  • Reminds me of a Car and Driver sort of joke. Someone buys a BMW with a straight 6, then tests drives one with an 8 and asks to have the engine exchanged, which the dealer can't do. Customer says "I could have had a V-8."

I guess 4zen is going to follow one of those infomercials and get his own juicer. I did, but somehow the juice from vegetables tasted like grass.

Jack, It's a discussion. I thought I was careful with my use of information. It's odd for you to attack the person, when such a unique and complex individual is presented for comment.

    Please refer to previous comment.

  • In reply to 4zen:

I wasn't attacking anyone, other than the presumption that if you don't like the spokesperson, buy something else.

I still won't buy Wonderful Pistachios or CITGO gas. I suppose that Hugo Chavez while alive, both liked and disliked the U.S., although he certainly didn't like Bush. Otherwise there doesn't seem to be a reason why you commented on a communist sympathizer who has profited off the capitalist system.

  • I like our spokesperson. My profile of Mr. Chan is current. I served the ball, if you can't return, then go to bed you boring cur.

  • " It's odd for you to attack the person"

Well, consider what you did 1 hour 14 minutes ago.

  • Sorry, that doesn't cut it. Defense is not an attack. Did you even look up what Chan said? Did you look up the numbers I wrote. Did you put it together and even examine it all for hypocrisy?

A man has amassed 130 million dollars, mostly out of the United States, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The Three places he criticizes most for having too much freedom. The world is his oyster, while he exonerates the virtues of communist rule for everyone else.

A very rich topic to examine, but your would rather be dramatic and pretend Aquinas might break if the merits of progressive thought are evaluated not for being less than grand ideals, but the fact they are often high jacked for personal ambition.

The very theme in books like 1984, Animal Farm, A Brave New World, Atlas Shrugged, Logan's Run, and even Soylent Green. But you have already put down such literature as being outdated, so stick to that meme and leave the boorish bar bouncer routine for the neighborhood kids you find in your yard.

  • In reply to 4zen:

If the terms "boring cur" are not "attack [a} person" then I don't know what are, nor why you are in a snit over this.
