What's it gonna be?

Just a quick note if anyone is nosing here before the game. For the Oil, everybody's favorite meathead Ben Eager will be in, though favorite whipping boy Cam Barker will not. For the Hawks, we'll likely continue to see new favorite whipping boy John Scott although Q may decide to go with some mobility in Lepisto. I won't, however, hold my breath waiting to see that decision.

The Oil has dropped two straight to original six teams and I always hate seeing a team come in that has dropped two or three in a row. Last year, between the Hawks and the Oil, the road team was the winner in all contests. This game will be the end of a road trip for the Oil, so here's hoping they are a little more interested in getting back home then they are on further solidifying what has been a very good start for them.

For the most part, there shouldn't be any surprises here. This team can be explosive and get scoring from all four lines. Moreover, they are not going to play a trap. In theory, this should be a game the Hawks want to play. On the other hand, Khabbi has been very good to start this season and if the Hawks want play a perimeter game without going to the net, good luck. The game should be more open, but the Hawks are still going to have to work hard.

I'd probably take the over on total goals today.
