Mike Jones, the Illinois Lottery administrator, was caught by our local Fox affiliate and exposed for sending state Lottery contracts back to his old company. At first, when he tried to send contracts to his firm the first time, Governor Quinn stepped in and said no because it was unethical, then Jones had the company change its name and after that he sent the contracts right back to them.
Naturally Jones claims he had nothing to do with it. But even the company in question says they got the jobs because Jones wanted them to have them and the Illinois Lottery admits that they had never dealt with Jones' company before he came to the Lottery.
Typical, corrupt Illinois.
