Congressman Dold issued the following statement after the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation’s decision to continue to provide grants to Planned Parenthood:
“I commend the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation’s decision to continue funding for Planned Parenthood to provide lifesaving breast cancer screenings.
‘These past few days have demonstrated the deep resolve Americans share in the fight against cancer and support for women’s health.
‘I hope that this reconciliation highlights the continued importance of ensuring access to this basic preventative care for low-income individuals.”
