This evening's City of Chicago edition of Public Affairs features Gary Rabine, ditchdigger CEO of the Rabine Group and life metaphor for Free Enterprise and how capitalism can work to create jobs-- when innovation and competition are allowed to operate in a free and dynamic market environment.
The half hour program airs THIS EVENING at 9:49 pm on Cable Ch. 21 (CAN TV) throughout the City of Chicago.
Rabine discusses with Public Affairs show host Jeff Berkowitz how he was able to start right out of high school and grow, eventually, a mega group of major companies that have been a source of major jobs, growth, opportunity and wealth for others and himself.
Rabine and Berkowitz discuss and debate the pluses and minuses of Governors Rauner & Pritzker, IL pension reform, amending the IL Constitution to allow reduction of government pension benefits, giving IL cities the power to file for bankruptcy, the proposed IL progressive income tax and Democratic Party Primary Presidential candidates and President Trump.
Rabine also discusses what is necessary for IL to become more competitive in business and a more hospitable environment for its citizens to work and enjoy their lives and families.
The Program was taped on November 18, 2019 in the Chicago Loop offices of Residco.
