Who was to blame for CPS apparently doing little or nothing about many or perhaps most of these sexual assault complaints and failing to disclose them to the CPS students, faculty, parents and community.

Mayor Daley? Mayor Emanuel? Former CPS Supt. Claypool, former CPS Chief Academic Officer and current CPS Supt. Janice Jackson and/or CPS Board Chairman Frank Clark, the Simeon Principal, the area network chiefs, etc.

Who was to blame for CPS getting over the last decade, on average, from students a credible complaint every other week of rape, sexual assault or sexual harassment by CPS volunteers, staff or faculty?

Who was to blame for CPS apparently doing little or nothing about many or perhaps most of these sexual assault complaints and failing to disclose them to the CPS students, faculty, parents and community.

Mayor Daley? Mayor Emanuel? Former CPS Supt. Claypool, former CPS Chief Academic Officer and current CPS Supt. Janice Jackson and/or CPS Board Chairman Frank Clark, the Simeon Principal, etc.

What is being done about that pattern of complaints of sexual abuse now? And, Did it take a Chicago Tribune expose of the gross CPS malfeasance for the Mayor, the CPS Board and the CPS management to take actions regarding the horrendous acts of commission and omission by CPS faculty, administration, management and Board referenced above.

Should Chicago’s citizens  expect this kind of gross malfeasance and misconduct after spending about $15,000 per kid per year at CPS.

These are some of the questions asked on Tonight’s City of Chicago edition of Public Affairs, featuring Troy LaRavier, one of 10 Chicago Mayoral candidate.

Among the additional mayoral issues discussed by show host Berkowitz with Troy LaRaviere on tonight's show are property taxes, the uneven economic development across the City and what many characterize as the  out of control pension benefits and costs for the City of Chicago and CPS.

Troy LaRaviere was a highly successful CPS Teacher and Principal who spoke out vigorously in the last few years against Mayor Emanuel's policies and he was subsequently fired by CPS for alleged inappropriate politicking and insubordination, amidst allegations by LaRaviere that the charges against him were politically motivated [See here].  He is currently the President of the Chicago Public School Principals' and Administrators' Association.

The show also airs:

--tonight and Wednesday night in Highland Park and Deerfield at 8:30 pm on Cable Ch. 19

--Twice daily, starting tonight and continuing through next Monday, in Evanston at 8:30 am and 8:30 pm on Cable Ch. 6
