You can also watch, 24/7, the show featuring Pat Brady, by clicking here.

Brady, President of Next Generation Strategies, endeavors to rebut those who think Rauner has already lost to Pritzker, due to what Chris Robling, 14 year morning WGN Republican analyst, calls Rauner's irreparable broken relationship with the State GOP base [Watch Robling here].

Along the way, Brady labels and condemns as "Haters,"  John Tillman, Illinois Policy Institute President, and Dan Proft, WIND- 560 AM-Radio daily morning drive's Morning Answer  (5 to 9 am).

3rd Term State Rep. Jeanne Ives, supported by WIND 560 AM-Radio media celebrity, the Answer and 2010 R Primary candidate for Governor, giving Gov. Rauner his daily oral whipping as she challenges the Winnetka billionaire in the March 20 primary, speaking at the City Club of Chicago before a hearty crowd of 200 (about 80% R supporters).

3rd Term State Rep. Jeanne Ives, supported by WIND 560 AM-Radio media celebrity, the Answer and 2010 R Primary candidate for Governor, giving Gov. Rauner his daily oral whipping as she challenged and almost beat the Winnetka billionaire in the March 20 primary, speaking at the City Club of Chicago before a hearty crowd of 200 (about 80% R supporters).

Brady spares State Rep. Ives and Robling from the haters' category, but he doesn't exactly cozy up, either, to Chris and Jeanne [Watch Rep. Jeanne Ives, one week prior to the primary election, make the case for her gubernatorial election, and in particular calling out Rauner for the bald faced lies in Rauner's Republican mailers (Watch Ives in 90 seconds on Rauner's lie that Ives opposed property tax freeze].

So, as John Kass asked on Sunday, can Rauner put Humpty Dumpty together again and beat Pritzker, as Brady suggests?

Or, is Pat Brady in denial. Is the problem a few Republican haters, as Brady argues?

Or, is it 340,000 Republicans who voted for Jeanne Ives?

We discuss, you decide.

  • About as big of a journalistic irrelevancy as something that looked like a newspaper, was traceable to one of your cited authorities--far right radio commentator Dan Proft but not identified as such in it--and arrived on March 22. Forget about early voting, Dan wasted newsprint, ink, and postage on a hit piece that arrived 2 days after the election. Maybe you can ask Ives about that.

But I guess you two "journalists" are on the J.B. Bandwagon by default. If you think the way to victory is Rauner knuckling under to Proft and Ives, good luck with that.
