Tonight’s suburban edition of Public Affairs with Jeff Berkowitz, the only weekly, 30 minute, serious, one on one political economy interview TV show in the Chicago Metro area, features WLS 890 AM Radio talk show host Dan Proft.
Proft is one half of the famous (or infamous) Wolfe and Proft WLS team that airs every weekday morning from 5 to 9 am. Proft, a 15 year veteran political campaign consultant and a favorite of WTTW’s Carol Marin, also ran in the 2010 Republican Primary, garnering 8% of the vote in a race won by Senator Bill Brady with 21% of the vote.
Proft, who like President Obama and State Treasurer Rutherford, has a certain je ne sais quoi about him, kind of discusses a possible run for Governor in 2014—if you are inclined to read between the lines, as is show host Jeff Berkowitz.
