Former Governor Rod Blagojevich likely to get 12 to 15 years from Judge Zagel tomorrow.

After about two hours of today’s sentencing hearing, it is clear that Judge Zagel will likely impose a sentence tomorrow on former Gov. Rod Blagojevich of 12 to 15 years in federal prison. Zagel was picking on Blago’s sentencing specialty lawyer Carolyn Pelling Gurland for telling the judge in her submission that “Blago came from nothing.”  After all, Rod’s parents had low paying jobs, but they helped produce two college educated boys, Rod and brother Robert.  Yeah, I would say Rod is looking at 12 to 15 years of hard time. If Zagel is in a good mood tomorrow, that is.
