Managing our young kids' behavior during summer vacation trips can be quite a challenge. Here's a suggestion.
Consider taking your vacation with friends or family. This works especially well if you live near your co-vacationers and they have young children too.
On the drive to the Wisconsin Dells or wherever you are going, send your son to your friend's car to play with his buddy and have their daughter come to your vehicle to play with your little girl. This often works well because a major cause of bad behavior in the car or anywhere is boredom. Playing with a pal usually alleviates the boredom.
