Does Your Kid Love Ninjas & Legos?

It is unbelievable how long legos have been around.  I can remember Sundays in the winter with my family centered around watching the World Wide of Sports while doing legos.  My brothers were obsessed with new castles, animals and ships.  But today LEGOLAND offers the most amazing sculptures.  I took my kids there this past season and had a blast.  The STAR WARS exist blew all of us away.

As a martial arts junkie, I was thrilled to see that the LEGOLAND Discovery Center has a new exhibit: LEGO Ninjago Spinjitzu.  WOW! Ninjas everywhere.  I figured since this has my son's name written all over it - it must be of interest to so many other aspiring martial Here martial artists. So there is a story that goes along with this fantastic exhibit:

The story of Ninjago begins long ago. The first master of Spinjitzu created the world of Ninjago. The master formed the world using the four mystical weapons of Ninjago: the Nunchucks of Lightning, the Shurikens of Ice, the Scythe of Quakes, and the Sword of Fire. The master then entrusted the world he made and the four mystical weapons with his two sons Sensei Wu and Lord Garmadon. His sons promised to protect the secrets of the weapons however, Lord Garmadon was consumed by darkness and greed and wanted to take the power of the weapons for himself. After a great battle with his brother, Lord Garmadon was banished to the underworld forever more.

But his evil was only made stronger by death – he became the ruler of the underworld, and forged alliances with the skeletons that lived there. He plans to once again try to take the four weapons of power.  But Sensei Wu has found four young ninjas that are prepared to learn the ways of spinjitzu. Only you and they can stop the dark lord.
