No doubt the holidays are a joyous time. With that joy comes more parties, festivities and celebrations. As the end of the year closes in, our waistlines expand. Join in POW!’s Annual Christmas Crunch Challenge, 25 Days of Core Training. Instead of finding yourself welcoming 2015 with a new pant size, commit 4-7 minutes each morning to a simple core workout. Each day the workout will be different. Each week will be a progression from the last week.
Rally your friends and co-workers to join in on this challenge. Just think about how your abs will be firmer, slimmer and trimmer as you rock in the New Year. To motivate your Christmas Crunch spirit, there are rewards for participating. After doing the daily core workout, comment or like on our FACEBOOK page (POW! Beyond training our ABS, we will be comprehensively strengthening all areas of the abdominals, obliques (side of the waist), lower back and even the pelvic floor. To avoid over-training, each day of the week will represent a different section and method of training your core. Our goal is to have stronger and tighter abs, improve the strength of our lower back and eliminate aches and pains.
Mondays will focus on All Sections and combine my favorite core exercises.
Tuesdays will focus on Standing Abs & Plank Variation.
Wednesdays will focus on Core Movements with Rotations or Twists.
Thursdays will focus on Lower Back & the Center Section of the Abs.
Fridays will focus on All Sections and combine my favorite core exercises.
Saturdays will focus on Plank Variations and Exercises that Use the Entire Core.
Sundays will focus on Lower Back & Stabilization.
You will be able to refer back to this blog to review pictures with instructions on how to do the exercises that are listed in each routine. You can also view the video below which shows you how to perform each exercise listed throughout the entire month.
