Amy Winehouse Died From Possible Massive Seizure?

By now, we have all heard the sad news from London that on Saturday, singer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London apartment around 4pm.  Although Winehouse, struggled with a very public drug addiction since 2007, the bright young star was said to be finally cleaning up her drug habit which included heroin use. The singer entered rehab again this year in early May. But many sources state that although her drug problem was finally under control her drinking problem was not.

Entertainment blogger Perez Hilton is reporting that Winehouse died from a massive seizure. "The hardcore drugs completely wrecked Amy's nervous system," an insider allegedly told Hilton. "She gave up all that [hardcore drugs] a while ago but she was still drinking heavily, which would bring on seizures." The same source claims Winehouse had been regularly suffering from seizures and that she had ignored doctors' advice to stop drinking.

The talented Grammy award winner, who passed away at the age of 27, has joined a tragic group of famous rock stars who all passed away from drug related problems. Guitarist Jimi Hendrix , singer Janis Joplin, Elvis Presley, The Doors singer Jim Morrison, Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain, and The King of Pop himself Michael Jackson have all joined this ill-fated club.
