Call me late on this one, but there is a movie coming out about the creation of what else- Facebook.
Now granted, I've seen stranger things this year including a new TV-show based off a twitter account. But a full-length feature film just on the creation of the social media network itself sounds insane!
But now after watching the first teaser for "The Social Network", I have to admit I'm sold!
The film, based on Ben Mezrich's 2009 book 'The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betrayal,' stars Jesse Eisenberg as Facebook co-creator Mark Zuckerberg and Justin Timberlake as Napster co-founder Sean Parker.
The movie will hit screens on Oct 1st, and with the tagline "You don't get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies". I'm calling Oscar watch on this one!
Oh, and expect just a little extra promotion on Facebook to promote the movie! Watch the official movie trailer below.
