Over the past month, it has been serious and introspective over here. It's time to lighten things up this week. So today, I provide you with 10 reasons why I would like to run screaming from my home to an office where I have to endure nylons, conference calls and fluorescent lighting, and consider that to be my own personal paradise.

1. My Starbucks bill will be cut in half because I will not have to buy a slice of pumpkin bread for the kids every time I go. (Don't even get my started on the times that they're sold out because, let me tell you - banana walnut won't cut it as a substitute.)
2. My house will not get as dirty if we're not all home fouling it up every day.
3. We can buy less toys because we're not at home nearly as often (although we'll buy just as many toys out of guilt that we're not home nearly as often.)
4. I just might be able to work out more than once each week when I drop off my kids. (How many working moms just cackled at that?)
5. A daily commuting opportunity to listen to music with profanity in it. (Okay, my kids already know plenty of Eminem.)
6. Daytime TV really is that bad.
7. I could pee alone.
8. I would have the opportunity to talk on the phone without someone continually screeching "ALL DONE PHONE" in the background.
9. Grown up clothes! And hey, more dry cleaning = less laundry.
10. I'd have more to contribute to a conversation than something involving diapers, tantrums or Yo Gabba Gabba.
What are your favorite reasons to work? Or if you're at home - What reasons would you want to head to the office?
Don't worry - the reasons to stay home are on Thursday.
