Breaking beer news: Goose Island Wrigleyville to reopen

Though it was thought to be closed forever, Goose Island’s Wrigleyville location, which has been closed since October, will reopen April 5, according to the Chicago Tribune. Big news from West Loop-based Haymarket Brewing Company, which owns and operates Haymarket Pub and Brewery (737 W. Randolph). According to a post published Monday on Haymarket’s blog, the company has purchased property in Bridgman, Mich. for a full-scale production brewery, slated to open in the spring of 2016.
