Remy is a friendly, handsome and fun, one-year-old, 55-pound, male Shepherd-mix with a cropped tail looking for a loving guardian.
Remy was found stray in Benton, Illinois. He landed at Franklin County Animal Control waiting for his humans to retrieve him, but they never came. So, he was transported to Friends of Petraits Rescue in Chicago to find the home of his dreams.
He has obviously not been accustomed to walking on leash. And, he’s not much of an apartment or condo dog, because he barks at first when left home alone.
He’s otherwise housebroken and ready to be trained. He loves people, gets along with most other dogs and has a wonderful temperament.
He is very healthy, de-wormed, treated with flea preventative, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccines, heartworm-tested negative and on monthly preventative. His adoption fee of $375 benefits the rescued dogs of Friends of Petraits Rescue. He’s scheduled to be neutered November 12th.
To meet and possibly adopt Remy please fill in an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-cat-adoption-application/ and contact firstname.lastname@example.org for an appointment to meet her. He is being fostered in Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood.
