Bailey — Petraits Rescue

Bailey — Petraits Rescue

Bailey is a sweet, fun, strong and high-energy, 18-month-old, 52-pound, female Yellow Labrador Retriever looking for a loving guardian.

Bailey was found stray in Metropolis, Illinois. She landed at a shelter waiting for her humans to retrieve her, but they never came. So, she was transported to Friends of Petraits Rescue in Chicago to find the home of her dreams.

She has obviously not been accustomed to walking on leash. And, she can be destructive is left at home alone unless crated. She’s young and ready to be trained. The good news is she has a wonderful temperament and loves other dogs. She is housebroken and crate-trained, knows the commands sit and down.

She is very healthy, spayed, de-wormed, treated for fleas, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, bordetella and leptospirosis vaccines, heartworm-tested negative and on monthly preventative. Her adoption fee of $400 benefits the rescued dogs of Friends of Petraits Rescue.

To meet and possibly adopt Bailey please fill in an adoption application at and contact for an appointment to meet her. She is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
