Janny is a sweet red and white three-year-old female crested guinea pig looking for a loving guardian.
This girl came to Friends of Petraits Rescue when her family down-sized and ran out of time and space for her.
She’s always lived in her own habitat but may possibly get along with another guinea pig if matched appropriately, or would at least would be happy living next to another guinea pig in a neighboring cage.
Guinea pigs eat a diet of unlimited Timothy and orchard hays – in fact, hay should be 80 percent of their diet. They can have limited pellets, and fresh vegetables including romaine, red leaf and green leaf lettuces, cilantro, and a little bit of fruit as a treat: oranges, etc.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent web site http://www.guinealynx.info/.
She would love a home with people who will handle her daily, keep her well fed, and keep her habitat nice and clean.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Janny, please fill out an adoption application here and contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
She is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
Her adoption fee of $30 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. For an additional $50, we’ll include a starter kit of absolutely everything you need to care for her including food, cage, hay, litter, hidey hut and water bottle.
