Titan the Magnificent Great Dane — Petraits Rescue

Titan the Magnificent Great Dane — Petraits Rescue
Titan is a goofy, well-trained but stubborn and energetic, two-year-old, 150-pound, black Great Dane with a cropped tail looking for a loving guardian.
Titan has gone through two boot camps to help his senior guardians keep him, but despite the training, he is still too much for an elderly couple with severe health issues to care for. He is a young strong boy who jumps up and knocks them down because they are not that steady on their feet. But, they love him so much.
He is great on leash with the right leader, not at all reactive to dogs on leash, great in the car, and lives with a tiny little old Yorkie who barely tolerates the Giant! While Titan is not aggressive, he does play hard and got booted out of doggie daycare for his rough play-style. He has not been cat-tested.
With some patience and consistency, Titan will make someone an awesome companion.
Titan is trained to sleep in his crate at night.
Titan is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, heartworm-tested, on monthly preventative, and microchipped. Because of the risk of bloat in this deep chested breed, please read up on appropriate activity following meals.
Titan is looking for someone experienced with the breed and a true Great Dane-Lover!
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Titan, please contact sheri@petraits.com for an adoption application. His adoption fee of $500 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue.
He is currently in Addison, Illinois.
