Taffy — Petraits Rescue

Taffy — Petraits Rescue
Taffy is a very sweet, tail-waggingly happy, cuddly, energetic and fun, six-year-old, 62-pound, female, chocolate and vanilla pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Taffy was found as a stray in Schaumburg in July 2016. She has been living in a foster home in Chicago where she has proven to be housebroken and crate-trained.

Taffy loves to play in a rough and tumble manner with large male dogs. Her best friend is Syd, a male dog at the rescue. She’s best in a home without small dogs or cats. She’s a tomboy who enjoys playing ball, giving kisses and tail wags!

She’s good with people of all ages including children.

She knows the commands sit, paw and other paw. She takes treats ever so gently from your fingers.

Taffy is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. She does have a grade 3 heart murmur, but needs no medication and she doesn’t let that slow her down.

Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog.
