Murphy is a sweet and loving, 11-year-old, 19-pound, male white Miniature Schnauzer looking for a loving guardian.
Murphy lost his home when his mom lost her home to foreclosure after a series of unfortunate events and injuries.
He has always shared a home with other dogs, cats and people of all ages. Although, he’s just as happy to be your one and only pet to soak up all your love.
He’s housebroken and loves to sleep in bed with his human. However, he may howl at first when left alone, so he may be best in a house rather than an apartment. He’s quiet when you are near.
Murphy is great on leash, jumps right in the car. He is a healthy senior, neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm and fecal-tested negative and on monthly heartworm preventative. He had full bloodwork and urinalysis.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Murphy, please contact email@example.com for an adoption application. His adoption fee of $250 benefits Friends of Petraits Rescue. He comes with everything you need to care for him: food, bowls, leash, collar and toys.
He is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
