What I Did Last Summer
Ask me what I did last summer, and I’ll ask if you want the short answer or the long answer with all of the grisly details? Actually, I’ll make the decision for you and take the shortest path possible.
I spent the summer trying to get my computer(s) working- one at the beginning of the summer and two by the end. Along the way, I realized how dependent we are on our “devices,” the collective name given to all the things that connect us- first to the internet and then to the modern world.
As of twenty minutes ago, I’m up and running again. The new computer works, and-some day- I’ll check to see if the old one does as well. Meanwhile, I have lots of stories to tell, and the morning is quickly morphing into afternoon.
