Eno: Come for the Wine, Stay for the Food

Looking for a new place for lunch? Is outdoor seating a must? If the answer to either question is “yes,” check out Eno in the Inter-Continental Hotel.

Eno Wine, Cheese and Chocolate has always been a great place to sip, nibble and schmooze. But in recent weeks, the restaurant has opened the covered patio on the south side of the hotel for lunch.

Much like the restaurant’s dinner menu, the midday edition includes a nicely balanced array of options.Consider a salad done with butter lettuce and smoked salmon, an expandable Caesar salad, thin-crust pizza, charcuterie, and an entrée that partners grilled romaine with grilled sirloin and a cheese sauce that enhances the flavor of both. As a bonus, the drink options include a good selection of cocktails, wine and beer, which-given that this is Eno- isn’t really a surprise.

The icing on the cake is the location of the well-appointed patio, just far enough from the noise and traffic on North Michigan Avenue to make lunch at Eno a relaxing respite from today’s hurry-up world.
