Here in the United States endurance sports like cycling is a healthy passion that keeps people fit and challenged as they race towards their goals, there are a dozen bike shops in the area where you can go in and drop $10,000 on a shiny new machine that will be the envy of everyone in your group ride.
The people from World Bicycle Relief Fund share in the passion of cycling, but also know that on a global scale, cycling isn’t a sport in some places, it’s a matter of survival.
A $10,000 carbon fiber triathlon bike won’t do much in rural Africa, but a dollar will.
Donations to the World Bicycle Relief Fund through December 31 will be matched dollar for dollar!
When you donate to World Bicycle Relief, you mobilize entrepreneurs, healthcare workers and students as they fight to feed their families, build their businesses, treat the sick, finish school, follow their dreams and change their world.
Without adequate transportation, access to vital resources such as healthcare, education and economic opportunity is often out of reach.
$1 is nice, $10 is great, $100 is awesome and everything goes to a great cause.
