Each year the Bank of America Chicago Marathon helps raise millions of dollars for charity as well has a positive impact on the economy of Chicago, through tourism, food and beverage, cabs, you name it the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is adding to the cash flow of our city.
This year they are reaching out past the great shores of Lake Michigan in an effort to show support and raise funds for the victims and families affected by the tragic events at the 2013 Boston Marathon.
Laces for Boston is a way to show your support and give your support to Boston while you are running or cheering on your favorite runner. It’s simple, donate $26 or more to the One Fund Boston to receive a pair of blue Laces for Boston, wear them on race day, and make a meaningful impact on the running community.
Once you have donated, your laces will be available for pick-up at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Health & Fitness Expo at McCormick Place, Hall B1, on Friday, October 11, from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Saturday, October 12, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
