In recent years, Multisport Madness has developed a youth program that is one of the best in the area as well as the nation.

Years of work as well as dedicated coaches, athletes and parents has lead to “the next generation” of triathletes learning about the sport as well as reaching a level of success that is unparalleled.

11 year old Justin Lorenz  from West Dundee is a member of Multisport Madness and the new 2012 Iron Kids national champion.

Iron Kids is open to kids ages 6 to 15, years of age.  Justin competed in the intermediate age group, which includes kids 9 to 11 years old.

Justin was the first to cross the finish line after swimming 150 yards, riding 4 miles and running 1 mile, with a time of 25:11.

Iron Kids is a positive way to introduce your children to triathlon in a competitive environment that is also safe and educational.
