Mayor Rham Emanuel took 27th in his age group out of 124 yesterday at the Lifetime Chicago Triathlon.
Emanuel competed in the sprint distance race with an impressive time of 1:33:46.

In addition to our professional athletes, Mayor Rahm Emanuel competed in the sprint distance and completed the race with a time of 1:33:46. Emanuel came in 27 in his age group out of a total 124.
Nearly 10,000 Olympic, paratriathlon, elite amateur and first-time triathletes competed in the largest triathlons in the country, marking the 30th year for the race.
On the pro side of competition, Sarah Haskins continued her Chicago win streak with her fourth victory in Chicago with a time of 2:00:37.
Fresh off an impressive Olympic effort, Hunter Kemper won the male professional division at 1:48:51.
