Run For Gus was named for Gus Evangelides, who passed away at twenty-one months old from a malignant brain tumor. A very small amount of money raised for cancer research trickles down to pediatric brain cancer and tumors. The Run For Gus has raised millions to help support the children and families who are dealing with this harsh reality.
This is your chance to help, by running, walking or donating to this fine charity.
The Run for Gus will start and finish at Diversey Harbor in Lincoln Park, pre-registration tickets are now only $30 and increase to $35 on the day of the event.
All participants will receive an exclusive Run for Gus t-shirt, enjoy complimentary food and beverages, live music and entertainment for the whole family, including fun activities at our Kids Corner. The after-party will be held at the Peggy Notebaert Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive. Attendees will have access to the museum during the event.
