Cycling Super Couple Takes 50 State Tour for Charity.

When Adam and Christy Coppola got married in October of 2010, they didn't immediately leave for their honeymoon, they decided they wanted to do something special and waited until January to leave.  It's June and Adam and Christy Coppola are still on their honeymoon!

Instead of hitting a resort or taking off to Europe,l the Coppola's decided they wanted to bike all 50 states to raise money for two charities, the World Bicycle Relief Fund and Achilles International.

To date they have raised over $18,000 and are headed to Chicago for a 20 mile group ride starting at at Higher Gear bike shop in Plaza del Lago, 1515 Sheridan Road, Wilmette,
on June 15th at 9:30am to raise awareness for their charities.

The money raised from this event will help distribute tens of thousands of bicycles around the world bringing independence and livelihood to those who need it most.

A portion (30%) of these funds will also help to give hand-cycles to support the rehabilitation of recovering amputee US veterans through the Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans at Achilles International.

This is a great opportunity to not only support this dynamic duo in their Herculean efforts, support two charities, but also support the Chicago start up who helped make their fund raising possible.

The Coppola's turned to the Chicago based company GiveForward to help
build their fundraising web page.  The company has made fundraising
free and easy for anyone trying to raise money for a charity or person
in need.

If you are looking for a place to set up a site and raise
money while you race, then make sure to check out GiveForward, it gives
people step by step guides, provides fundraising coaches, and details
on how to use free fundraising tools like social media to make
fundraisers successful.
