Wednesday morning a "mystery cyclist", became a hero and now the entire city is asking, "who is that hero?"
The female cyclist saw a fallen male cyclist in trouble across from Buckingham Fountain, threw her bike and helmet aside and immediately initiated CPR, saving his life!
Her quick actions and knowledge of CPR changed the course of another human beings life and both he and his family are eager to thank the cyclist, the problem is, nobody knows who she is? In true super hero fashion, she disappeared as quickly as she showed up!
So the search is on to find the mystery jogger and thank her her quick actions and bravery.
If you do have any information about who Rider X is, you can leave it here or e-mail Natalie at email@example.com.
Knowing CPR saved the life of another athlete in need. The video below from the American Heart Association is called Hands Only CPR, it's a quick one minute refresher on how to do CPR. There is also an App that can be downloaded to your phone for you to have, as the events on Wednesday proved, knowing basic CPR can and does save lives.
Whoever she is, we want to say thank you and way to go! In a city of millions of people, bustling from place to place, you jumped in and changed the world with your actions, truly heroic.
