To say Sally Edwards has had a positive impact on endurance sports, is like saying Billy Dec kind of like hats, an understatement!

Besides being one of the founders of Fleet Feet Sports, Yuba Snowshoes and Heart Zones USA, Edwards has completed over 150 races including more than 75 Danskin Triathlons and 16 Ironman Triathlons. She is a former holder of the master's world record in the Ironman, and the national spokesperson for the Danskin series of women-only sprint triathlons. Her background in multi-sport competition is extensive. She has won the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run, the 100 mile Iditashoe Snowshoe Race, Race Across America Relay division, and numerous marathons. She has also participated in adventure races around the world.

On April 6th and 7th Edwards will be in Chicago holding free training clinics and answering questions for female triathletes of all levels.

These training parties are sponsored by Trek and are designed to give women, ranging from beginners and experts, advice on how to effectively and efficiently train for one or more of the six Trek Women Triathlon Series events and the seven Danskin Triathlon
Series events
, each comprised of a half mile swim, 12-mile bike and three-mile run.

The parties are free, and women do not have to be signed up for a Trek Women or Danskin triathlon in order to attend.

This is a can't miss opportunity to train with and talk to one of the smartest minds in the world of endurance sports.

Sally will be at On The Route (April 6 at 6:30 p.m.)
The Trek Store in Highland Park (April 7 at 6:30 p.m.)
