Freezing My Jingle Bells Off- The Inaugural Santa Shuffle 5K

Ho, Ho, Go! 1200 Santa's are off and running.

25 degree weather didn't stop 1200 runners dressed in their best Santa costumes from enjoying the inaugural Santa Shuffle 5k Saturday morning.

Santa's of all ages enjoyed this great new race.  The Santa hats and beards that came in the goodie bags proved to be a stroke of genius, providing just the right amount of extra warmth to keep everyone comfortable.

Athlete of the Month Lauren Kaminsky and our buddy Dan Malinski (30 pounds lighter!) were amongst the runners making their way through Lincoln Park.  Once the race got started the sea of red and white was something special to see, as they got into the spirit of this great new race.
