For those of you thinking about doing a triathlon for the first time, but aren't ready to plunk down a ton of money for gear, or you're not all that sure about open water swimming, an indoor triathlon might be just the ticket.
Together We Tri. Triathlon Team is hosting an indoor triathlon that mixes the great workout of a Sprint Triathlon with a low key environment, which makes for great introduction to the sport and a lot of fun as well.
This is the first of two they are hosting both will consist of a one-hour indoor triathlon - (10-minute swim, 10-minute transition, 20-minute bike, 5-minute transition, 15-minute run). The second race is scheduled for early Spring.
Everyone will receive an event running shirt and goody bag for participating.
Awards will go to:
* First and second over all male and female.
* Open division first and second place male
* First and second place female
* Masters division first and second place male and first and second place female.
Race #1-
When: November 15th, 2009.
First wave starting at 7:00 am and every 30 minutes after. Wave assignments will be emailed to participants prior to event.
Where: The Park Center in Glenview.
