If you want to race this weekend you still have the chance to sign up for two great events to get your heart pumping.
The Hillsboro July 4th Biathlon/Triathlon has spots open for the 500 yard swim, 19 mile bike and 3.1 mile run. Athlete's can register up until 7:00 AM on race day.
This is the 21st annual running of this event, since it's a sprint, you can race, shower and be home to BBQ.

The Cycle & Fitness Firecracker Triathlon and Pizza Hut Kids Triathlon in St. Joe Michigan is a great weekend for both the veterans and newbies in the sport. The area offers a great "weekend beach vacation" for anyone getting out of the city for the July 4th weekend. If you are thinking about racing Steelhead, this is a great way to check out the area and the course at a shorter distance.
