Biking- A Family Event

The Miller Lite Ride for the Arts- Sunday June 7th- Milwaukee.

This ride has generated more than $6 million for the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF).

The Ride offers a 5-, 15-, 25-, 50- and 75-mile bike route. After the Ride, participants can enjoy the Forest County Potawatomi Community Foundation Finish Line Party at the Miller Lite Oasis, Summerfest Grounds. The party includes entertainment, performances from UPAF groups, and children's and sponsor-related activities.

The Ride starts in downtown Milwaukee at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, 929 N. Water St. , and finishes at the Miller Lite Oasis, Summerfest Grounds. The various routes travel past several Milwaukee landmarks and continue along the scenic shores of Lake Michigan through numerous Milwaukee-area communities and parks.

The prices for registration are $35 for adults and $25 for youth. Families of four can register for $95 (2 adults, 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children).

Kayaking- A New Event

The Inaugural Burnham to Marquette Water Trail Expedition-Chicago.

Take a trip along Lake Michigan's south shore.
 
The expedition launches from Chicago's Burnham Park and ends Sunday night in a celebration at Millennium Plaza in Michigan City, Indiana. Along the way there will be stops at some of the most beautiful parks and beaches in the region.
