Now, I’m no political expert…but..
If in your past, you’ve been accused of sexual harassment…more than once, and then decide to run for President of the United States, don’t be surprised when you're asked about being accused of sexual harassment….more than once.
I mean, that seems fair, right?
After all, people applying for minimum wage jobs, say at Subway for example, are “vetted” to a degree; stands to reason that someone applying for the “highest office in the land” would be subject to somewhat of a thorough background check.
And if that background check uncovered one…or two…or three (or nine?) accusations of Sexual Harassment, the candidate, either for the job of “Sandwich Artist” or “President”, while not necessarily being disqualified from consideration, can probably count on being asked a question or two regarding the accusations.
These hiring practices, such as background checks, and…oh yea-questions, most would see them as common sense safeguards against costly mis-hires; others, say Herman Cain, Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, see them as examples of….racism??
So let me see if I follow:
Herman Cain decides to Run for President.
It is uncovered that Herman Cain has been accused of Sexual Harassment on more than one occasion.
Herman Cain is asked about said accusations.
Herman Cain responds evasively, and inconsistently to questions regarding the accusations, which elicits more questions.
Ok Ok, I’m following.
And then-
Herman Cain and those who support him, accuse the “liberal media”, and all those who are questioning Cain, of engaging in a “high tech lynching”, of being closet racists, whose true, bigoted colors, come out any time a black conservative rises to prominence.
Wait…what?
We’re doing what now?
All of a sudden Rush Limbaugh is worried about racism? And this time it doesn’t involve “white kids getting beat up with the black kids cheering, 'Yay, right on, right on, right right on”
Ann Coulter disparages those who are asking questions of Cain, accusing them of being racially motivated, and yet in the same interview, amazingly says “Our Blacks (conservatives) are better than their (liberals) blacks…”.
And then of course there is Mr. Electric Fence, Mr. Blacks Have Been Brainwashed, Mr. Now I want to Play the Race Card.
Wait, I’ve heard Herman Cain discuss the race card before….oh yea, when he accused President Obama of “playing” it to divert attention away from his “failed policies”.
Around the 30 second mark:
“Every time someone disagrees with the President…it’s the race card. Well if the policies aren’t working, that’s not racial, that’s a failed policy”.
Well Herman, let’s put this way:
Apparently, every time someone asks you about the sexual harassment allegations against you, it’s the race card.
And well, if your answers aren't working…that’s not racial, that’s a failed cover up.
This is how a job interview goes Herman.
And if in the end, you don’t get the job, don’t blame the women, don't blame racism, don‘t blame the liberal media...
