You should check out Bailiwick Chicago's new musical revue "Show Us Your Love."
It's playing every Sunday night in February and March at Mary's Attic, and it's tons of fun!
Watch great performances of songs from HAIR, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, PIPPIN, FLOYD COLLINS and BROOKLYN THE MUSICAL...and a few more shows I can't remember. There's an informal vote afterward where you decide which performances were your favorite. Your votes then influence the theatre's upcoming season.
This is such a great idea! Not only is it the perfect evening of diverse pieces (perfect for those of us with even the slightest bit of ADD) but it's also something that gives the public a chance to say, "We want to see these shows, and not these shows" and then Bailiwick delivers!
And the best part? Mary's Attic is a cabaret setting, so there's food and drinks galore! Order a Jello shot and indulge in some musical theater mania!
