Make A Difference

Many people have been asking what the theater community can do in response to the disastrous earthquake in Haiti two weeks ago.

Over the past week the American Red Cross has been accepting donations through The League of Chicago Theatres, and will continue to do so until January 31st.

The League has enlisted the support of over 200 theatres in Chicago in order to raise funds. Broadway In Chicago will be accepting donations from patrons after each performance of "Dreamgirls", which means 7 additional chances to donate to the American Red Cross. Plus, Second City will be collecting donations from their audiences and will match that contribution with their own.

You have always been so generous to support Chicago theater, now you have the chance to support over 3 million people in need of something as basic as clean water. No donation is too large or too small.

You can also donate to the American Red Cross online.
