Northwestern QB Kain Colter looks white in NCAA 13 video game - photo

Take a good look at the photo above.  What you are looking at is an actual photo of Kain Colter, who is the current QB for Northwestern and what he looks like in the EA NCAA 13 video game.  Hmmmm, something is not quite right with the video game likeness and Kain is not happy about it.  I don't blame him.  You can see what he tweeted below.

  • To add insult to injury: I assume the players make no money from the use of their likeness (*cough, cough*) and name in this commercial venture. Either way, good luck Kain and Go Cats!!

  • I agree with you. I'm sure that the NCAA prevents the players from receiving any money from the game since they are considered amateur athletes, even though they make professional money for the schools. Speaking of that, I believe colleges athletes should be paid, especially the football and basketball players...but that's a whole other issue.

  • The programmers of the NCAA 13 video game ONLY have to program in 4000 Division 1 players faces. I'm sure they had the time and the wherewithal to deliberately make the quarterback of Northwestern white. Somebody ought to let Kain know he's not quite as important as he thinks he is.

I can only imagine the amount of work it takes to program a game, BUT, Kain was not happy about his likeness and he let the world know by tweeting it.

  • Note, the above screenshot from Madden 13 doesn't even have Kain's name listed. It just says QB #2. This is a terrible blog
