Eat more fish!

The Food and Drug Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency advise pregnant and nursing women and young children to eat fish 2-3 times per week (about 8-12 oz).  Everyone should be doing this.  Fish is not only low in fat and high in protein but it's been shown to improve brain development and function.  Make sure to avoid the high mercury fish like king mackerel, Gulf of Mexico tile fish, shark, and swordfish.  Even though the high Omega 3 Fatty Acid fish sources like salmon have been highlighted, make sure to have a variety of fish to get all the different nutrients.  Here's a new fish recipe to try:
