The web is full of Fabulous Online Resources (FOR) for nonprofits. But who has time to navigate through all the not-so-great options to find the few gems? The staff members at the Axelson Center are doing the legwork for you. This is the first in a series of blogs that will highlight those fabulous (mostly free) resources.
Today's FOR is a website that will help you understand (or explain to your coworkers, volunteers, etc.) some of the new media tools (think Twitter or Wikis). Common Craft provides short animated videos explaining many different topics including social and new media. It uses short, simple terms that just about anyone can understand. A few of my favorites:
