Storytelling-based Chicago theater starts auditions for new show

Lakeview-based literary not-for-profit Here's The Story is holding auditions tomorrow, June 7 in Rogers Park for a new "task-based" show called A Month Of...

The theater is looking for adventurous people with strong storytelling ability to be hosts for the show. Shy people are also encouraged to audition for the role of task-doers.

"The task will be chosen each month by the audience," said Dan Boyd, President of Here's The Story. "Once the task is completed, the tasker will have to prove they completed it. This proof will take on many forms."

The task for the audition is: Dinner Stories - Sit with a stranger for lunch.

"This type of show is a group effort. It's been exciting and we all feel like when the show comes together in July, it will be something really special," says Boyd.
