Joakim Noah was only nine blocks away from a quadruple double tonight, and had he played the fourth quarter he might have gotten there. Okay, this is a little unrealistic, but the fact remains that Noah had a hell of a game tonight against the injury depleted Milwaukee Bucks. This may have been one of the most complete games that the Bulls have played all season, minus the 20 turnovers. Joakim finished with 13 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. He shot 3 for 6 from the field and made all 7 of his free throw attempts. Needless to say, his guns were out tonight.
This makes you wish that Joakim could play the Bucks every game. Earlier this season on January 27th, Noah went off for 15 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks and 3 steals. Although in both games Andrew Bogut didn't play, something makes Joakim play well against Milwaukee (He hates Milwaukee; he is allergic to cheese and wasn't accepted to Marquette. . . I'm purely speculating). In fact, ever since Joakim Noah came out and stated that he felt a little pressure from the big contract he signed, which contributed to his slow start, Noah has been on a terror. Had he played at this level all year, there is no question that he would have been an All Star.
While I've been watching Noah play at this high level for the Bulls in the past month, the looming thought of him being traded is always on my mind. When I see him play like he did tonight, there is no question that his trade value increases to other teams, sayyyyy Orlando? Not only does he have the best looking hair and arms in the game, but he hustles harder than every other player on the team. He is easily my second favorite player on the team, but if the offer came up for Dwight Howard, the Bulls would have to do it, right? (Joe and I have this discussion at least once a day) While Joakim is the heart of the team, Dwight Howard is a once in a lifetime player. How many other centers in the league can have a twenty-twenty night, or thirty-twenty night, or even a forty-twenty game like he did earlier this year. As much as it pains me to say it, the Bulls would be dumb not to do a deal for Howard, even with it sending away Joak. So, enjoy tonight's triple double by Joakim and every other game he plays from here on out, because as he continues to improve, so does the likelihood that he could be traded.

Well said, wish Noah was more consistent but you're spot on, if we can get Dwight, its a no brainer.
It sucks that Noah can get a triple double one night, and then go scoreless against the Nets. But with games like this it has to help our chances of getting Dwight. Boy would he look good with Rose right?
